The Market
Doner kebab is one of the most popular dishes. According to the statistics portal Statista, an average of around 400 tonnes of Doner kebab are produced in Europe every day. Across Europe, the production and sale of Döner kebabs generate an average annual turnover of around 12 billion euros.
The gastronomic market is expanding and diversifying, with standard products being developed further, becoming more varied and interpreted very exclusively. However, there has been no positive, innovative development among Doner kebab providers to date.
